Plenty of bars and restaurants in front of the apartment. From start to finish an enjoyable experience. Room was very clean.

I have to say of all the holidays I have been on, Island Village is exceptional. We went as a large family and I could not have asked for better. It is definitely worthy of more than 2 star. On arrival we were met by this extremely friendly and helpful receptionist Rosa. We had booked 2 apartments with gardens, purly becuase we have a young baby and wanted a play area for him, it was absolutly brilliant, the gardens had sun bed and patio sets, so really we didnt have to leave the garden. If you wanted to go swimming the pool was right on front of us and was super. Although the apartments dont have air con, you could rent a fan, but this was not a major issue as the apartments were so big and roomy and so well equipped. The bathroom had a huge bath tub with Jacuzzi. The little restaurant on site was great for light snacks during the day, there was a 24hr taxi rank right outside, so you can stroll down to the main strip/beach front in 10mins and if you were too tired to walk back a taxi is no more than 5euro. I would have no hesitation in reccommending Island Village, for a perfect family break, and I definitely will be returning to Island Village for my next holiday! Thank you for a wonderful break!!

Not a major issue but a fan on the celing would be good, but we rented a fan and all was fine.

Cleanliness or lack of !! There was a dead cockroache beside our fridge when we arrived and it was still there when we left.Housekeeper had in twice while we were there and just a casual brush around the floor without looking obviously.

I loved the area. Stunning views, we had apartment on the 2nd floor, a balcony view on Ocean, we could see La Gomera and mountains as well. The kitchen had all u could possibly need, even crystal glasses for champagne! And Jacuzzi was big! Me and my girlfriend felt like home there. Great place to stay. We will come there again for sure.

The apartment hotel is located in area, where u must go upwards the hill. It may be dificult for realy old couples and maybe with wheelchairs. But for the rest- its totally O.k - It's one of the features in Tenerife. We had no complaints, actually!

Been here for many years and for me it's the location as I know where I'm going, walks, bars, food etc

The supermarket closed down. Also the fact that my booking was 530€ which equals to £422 in sterling. Someone somewhere has taken commission as I have been charged £450 to which I'm not 100% happy with, this was not clear when I booked the holiday.

Reception and cleaning staff very pleasant and helpful.

We reported on arrival that shower riser rail was not working, this was not repaired in the two weeks we stayed at complex. Also towels/bedding where not changed regularly enough. In one instance I have to complain because no one had been in to empty bins and supply clean towels, bedding for 4 days.

The staff were very nice and very helpful. Our apartment was airy, bright and spacious. The pool was lovely. It was in a reasonably quiet location.

Some things in the apartment were old and worn. Eg. Towels were frayed, doors and windows did not fit their frames which made the place feel a bit shabby sometimes. However, this was probably why the place is so cheap and is balanced by the positive comments above.

Our initial apartment was run down and in a not so good area of the complex. However, the staff kindly removed us to a different apartment, which was gorgeous and made our stay. Staff helpfulness was excellent. Location up a hill difficult for those with walking difficulties. Taxis readily available if needed. Just what we wanted - a relaxing beach break with nice food and great location.

I liked the private garden I had in my bungalow as it was a real sun trap and the bar staff @ Picasso`S. (Shame about their cooking).

I didn`t like the fact that there was nowhere to get a decent meal or coffee. The cleaning in the room was "sparse" to say the least and the kitchen was on its last legs and falling apart. Also the towels were frayed/torn and dirty and the maintenance levels of the accomodation was poor.
